Medical liability protection
Health care professionals working with TMLT policyholders are eligible for coverage through Texas Medial Company (TMIC), TMLT's wholly owned subsidiary. Claims-made or occurrence coverage is offered at a variety of limits for ancillary staff, including:
- nurses;
- CRNAs;
- nurse midwives;
- nurse practitioners;
- physician assistants;
- technicians;
- therapists;
- chiropractors;
- podiatrists; and
- dentists.
TMIC was organized in 1995 to provide additional insurance products for physician practices.
