Take a risk management education course and earn a 3 percent discount (up to $1,000 per course). Take up to two courses per year. You can request a seminar for your office, attend one of our scheduled seminars, or take an online CME course.
Risk management practice review
A practice review involves an on-site evaluation by a TMLT risk management professional to help determine your risk exposures. Physicians who complete the process may be eligible for a 5 percent premium discount. This discount continues through the expiration of the current policy plus an additional two full policy periods.
Practice reviews are free to all policyholders, and can be completed without disrupting patient appointments. Request a practice review
Electronic Medical Assessment
In conjunction with a practice review, policyholders may receive an additional 2.5 percent discount for the use of electronic medical records and electronic prescribing. Eligibility for this discount is contingent upon documented use of a program for at least one year. The program must also meet specific risk management criteria.
Experience discount program
We offer automatic premium discounts to policyholders with favorable claim experience. The discounts range from 5 to 20 percent, relative to the number of years you have been with TMLT. The discount is evaluated and factored into your renewal premium. If the discount is applied, it is reflected in your renewal premium.
