Bexar County Medical Society

Established with the Texas Medical Association in 1853, the Bexar County Medical Society is the oldest county medical society in Texas. Through the years, it has served the needs of its membership while addressing the best interests of the patient and public. BCMS has grown to become the eighth largest county medical society in the nation, serving 4,000 members with 29 programs, products and services provided by eight different corporations. TMLT has been endorsed by the Bexar County Medical Society since 1999.


Dallas County Medical Society

The Dallas County Medical Society, established in 1876, is a professional organization that has grown from 30 to more than 6,000 physicians. Member Dallas physicians, Dallas surgeons, medical students, and residents are dedicated to serving Dallas citizens in matters of medical care. TMLT has been endorsed by the Dallas County Medical Society since 1994.


Harris County Medical Society

Established in 1903, the Harris County Medical Society is the largest county medical society in the United States, with a membership of approximately 8,900 physicians and medical students. It is the professional organization for physicians in Harris County. TMLT has been endorsed by the Harris County Medical Society since 1998.


Lubbock-Crosby-Garza County Medical Society

The Lubbock-Crosby-Garza County Medical Society represents more than 800 physicians in a three-county region. TMLT has been endorsed by the Lubbock-Crosby-Garza County Medical Society since 2002.


Tarrant County Medical Society

Founded in 1902, TCMS represents more than 2,200 physicians in Tarrant County, Texas. TMLT has been endorsed by the Tarrant County Medical Society since 1998.


Texas Academy of Family Physicians

TAFP, the state’s largest medical specialty organization, promotes and assures the maintenance of high-quality health care, has 31 local chapters, and is a chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians. It provides members with a unified voice for family medicine and continues to be one of the most patient- and public-health focused groups in Texas. TMLT has been endorsed by the TAFP since 1992.


Texas Medical Association

The Texas Medical Association was organized by 35 physicians in 1853 to serve the people of Texas in matters of medical care, prevention and cure of disease, and the improvement of public health. Today, with more than 41,000 physician and medical student members, TMA's vision is still to "improve the health of all Texans." TMA supports Texas physicians by providing distinctive solutions to the challenges they encounter in the care of patients.


Texas Orthopaedic Association

Texas Orthopaedic Association strives to assure the citizens of Texas excellence in musculoskeletal health by uniting orthopaedic surgeons and promoting the highest professional, ethical and moral standards.


Travis County Medical Society

The Travis County Medical Society is a component society of the Texas Medical Association. TCMS membership includes 2,500 members, which incorporates approximately 90 percent of the physicians practicing in the greater Austin area. Members have joined together to share medical knowledge and raise the standard of medical care in Texas. TMLT has been endorsed by the Travis County Medical Society since 1994.

Texas Medical Group Management Association (TMGMA)

The mission of the Texas Medical Group Management Association is to foster professional development of our members through education and networking; to enhance the image of medical group management in the effective delivery of health care services; and to represent the interest of our membership in policy-making activities. The TMGMA is affiliated with the Medical Group Management Association.
