Senior Programmer Analyst
This position in the Information Technology Department is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of computer applications, under minimal supervision.
Duties include, interfacing with other internal departments to understand complex business requirements and develop solutions using information technology and systems; developing new and maintaining existing applications, reports, and procedures; developing and conducting training programs for applications and system query and reporting tools; and providing direction and support to fellow programmers as needed.
Requirements include:
- advanced programming skills with developing applications using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL server, including the development of stored procedures;
- experience developing reports using reporting tools like Pentaho, Ghostdraft, and/or Crystal Reports;
- in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Windows, and the internet;
- understanding of PC hardware and network operating systems;
- knowledge of OnBase configuration management and workflow development;
- ability to communicate well with end users and offer solutions for software and data problems;
- computer science degree preferred; and
- a minimum of five years of programming experience.
