Policyholders to save $12.3 million with 10% dividend

Policyholders to save $12.3 million with 10% dividend

TMLT policyholders will receive a 10 percent dividend for the 2026 policy year when they renew their policies in 2027. The dividend — declared by the TMLT Board of Trustees in February 2026 — will save policyholders approximately $12.3 million in premium.

This is the 22nd year that TMLT has declared a dividend, saving policyholders approximately $413 million since 2005.

Dividends are based on expiring premium and are applied to the renewal premium the year after they are declared.

Other rewards and discounts

In addition to dividends, TMLT offers a loyalty program called Trust Rewards. Each year funds are set aside for eligible policyholders in their Trust Rewards accounts. Funds accumulate and are distributed as a lump sum upon retirement, disability, or death. Check your Trust Rewards balance. (Log in required.)

TMLT also offers automatic premium discounts to policyholders with favorable claim experience. Discounts range from 2% to 20%, depending on length of time with TMLT.

Policyholders who complete a qualifying 2-hour CME activity may be eligible for a 3% premium discount applied to their next eligible policy period. Two courses can be taken for the discount, for up to 6% per policy term.

Complete a practice review and earn a 5% premium discount after review recommendations are met. This discount continues through the current policy plus two full policy periods.

Texas physicians interested in applying for TMLT coverage and learning how TMLT’s dividends and discounts will affect their premium can contact Underwriting or call 800-580-8658.
