TMLT Dedicates $20 Million to the Trust Rewards Program for 2014

Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT) proudly announces that our Board of Governors voted to dedicate $20 million to the Trust Rewards Program for 2014.

Austin, TX — Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT) proudly announces that our Board of Governors voted to dedicate $20 million to the Trust Rewards Program for 2014. These funds are the Board’s way of rewarding our policyholders for their loyalty.

The additional allocation brings the Trust Rewards total to $150 million. No other medical malpractice insurer offers this much to Texas physicians.

'The additional $20 million shows the Board’s enthusiastic support for our TMLT policyholders,' said TMLT President and Chief Executive Officer Charles R. Ott, Jr. 'We stand by our Texas physicians and provide them with more benefits than any competitor. The Trust Rewards program is an excellent demonstration of TMLT’s superior benefits.'

The Trust Rewards program serves as a financial reward for policyholders. Each year when a physician’s policy renews, funds are set aside in the Trust Rewards account. The funds will be allocated to policyholders at the time of retirement or other qualifying event.
